For refugee and humanitarian entrants, the SSP builds upon the foundation services provided by Humanitarian Settlement Services, by delivering settlement services that assist eligible clients to become fully-functioning members of society. As a consequence, the program promotes social cohesion and productive diversity within the Australian community.

SSI Volunteer Spotlight: Sue Vile

A retired school teacher and nurse, Sue has dedicated an enormous amount of her time in recent years on the front line of humanitarian services, helping refugees at many stages of their journey to safety.
