Inclusive Employment Australia starts November 1

Inclusive Employment Australia is a new specialist disability employment program that will replace the Disability Employment Program in late 2025.

With 25 years’ experience supporting refugees and migrants, SSI brings specialist expertise to Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA). We’ll deliver tailored employment services for people with disability, helping to boost workforce participation and strengthen social inclusion over the next five years.

I’m a current DES participant

If you’re with DES now, there’s nothing you need to do. Keep working with your current provider as usual. You’ll receive updates in the coming months. If you have any questions, please speak with your facilitator, email desemployment@ssi.org.au or call (02) 8713 9200.

Support for employers under the new program

Employers will be able to access expert guidance from providers on recruitment and workplace practices. We will work with employers to:

  • identify their business needs
  • find suitable candidates
  • access training
  • make workplace adjustments, job customisation and tailoring
  • provide safe and productive workplaces
  • retain employees with disability.
