Domestic Family Violence

At Settlement Services International (SSI) the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Unit works towards safe and evidence-informed DFV response across SSI’s services. The unit advocates against gender based violence in NSW, nationally and internationally for CALD individuals, families and communities to access DFV services, representation in the DFV sector and ensuring culturally responsive practice. The unit also runs a Men’s Behaviour Change Program, Building Stronger Families, in partnership with Relationships Australia NSW and leads a Community of Practice with the NSW Settlement Partnerships.
