This half day interactive workshop provides participants with information about child protection and mandatory reporting in NSW. The workshop outlines different forms of child abuse, the role of a mandatory reporter, and identifying possible risk of significant harm. The session takes participants through the use of the Mandatory Reporter Guide and how to make a report.
At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Define significant harm
- Identify different forms of child abuse and their possible impacts
- Make effective use of the Mandatory Reporter Guide
- Outline the internal procedures of making a report and the process of lodging a report
