Youth at Work Mentor SSI Youth@Work mentors support young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds to adapt to the workplace and stay in work in Australia.

The program aims to enhance the career outcomes of participants who often find it difficult to secure long term employment in Australia because of language and cultural barriers.

Mentors connect with participants via phone, email, text or in person for up to six months to help young people set the foundations for their career goals.

Housing Services volunteerSSI's Housing Services provide housing assistance to refugees, humanitarian entrants, and people seeking asylum once they arrive in NSW.

SSI Housing Services volunteers will assist refugees and people seeking asylum who are supported by SSI to search for long-term accommodation, with a focus on supporting clients to attend weekend rental inspections.

Housing Services Volunteers will frequently be asked to use their car to fulfill duties, which may include transporting clients.
