Multicultural NSW gifted Settlement Services International (SSI) 200 tickets to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup for our refugee and asylum seeker clients, who have so far enjoyed the tournament immensley.

A large majority of SSI’s clients are from soccer-loving nations, and this will be a great opportunity for people who feel far away from their families and old friends to watch a live game between world-class players.

Clients can register to watch one of four games at Stadium Australia, Sydney Olympic Park, between Australia, Iran, Qatar and Bahrain from January 13 to January 31.

When SSI Case Manager Monique Veltman contacted her clients about the gifted tickets, they were really excited. “A lot of my clients are from Iran, and really love soccer, so I think it will be great for them to see Iran play. They were really appreciative.”
